Franklin Brito is a true martyr of the Chavista dictatorship. Being an agricultural producer, he was stripped of his lands by the Bolivarian government. Frustrated to complain to a nonexistent justice, Franklin decided to carry out a hunger strike to the last consequences. Chavismo accused him of insanity and detained him in a military hospital where he remained until his death, isolated from the press, family and friends. Today he is a symbol for all those struggling to recover liberties in Venezuela. He lost his lands, lost his life, but never lost his dignity. This is the homage of CEDICE to a great Venezuelan.
